AUSLOCK Gateway (G5) — Remote Access Setup & Best Practices
The AUSLOCK G5 Gateway helps connect compatible locks for remote features like unlock, logs, and user updates.
Setup steps
- Power on the gateway.
- Open AUSLOCK app → Gateways → Add Gateway.
- Complete the pairing and network connection prompts.
- Bind the gateway to your lock(s).
- Test Remote Unlock and check that logs update.
Best practices
- Place gateway where it can “see” both the lock (Bluetooth) and your network reliably.
- Keep gateway powered 24/7 for consistent syncing.
- If you manage multiple locks, label them clearly in the app.
Common fixes
- Won’t bind to lock: move closer and retry binding.
- Remote unlock missing: confirm Admin login + lock is assigned to the gateway.
