Before you start

- Have the correct screwdriver/allen key ready.
- Take photos as you go (helps re-install).
Safe uninstall steps
- Remove the internal cover.
- Disconnect battery pack / remove batteries.
- Unscrew the internal mounting plate screws.
- Carefully separate the inner and outer sections.
- Remove spindle and hardware gently (avoid bending).
Reinstall tips
- Ensure spindle is centred and seated.
- Tighten evenly to avoid twisting.
- Test locking with the door open before closing.
