Hostaway can connect to the TTLock ecosystem to automate guest access workflows (codes, scheduling, and check-in automation). This guide shows the clean setup path and the most common fixes if syncing fails.

Before you start (checklist)

  • AUSLOCK App: Lock is added as Admin and works locally (Bluetooth).
  • Time & timezone: Confirm lock time/timezone are correct (prevents schedule issues).
  • Remote access: For consistent off-site syncing, set up a Wi-Fi Gateway/Hub (recommended).

Gateway / Remote Access (recommended for automation)

Most PMS/channel workflows require reliable remote connectivity. Without a gateway, locks may only sync reliably when you are near them (Bluetooth range).

  1. Wi-Fi: Ensure you have 2.4GHz Wi-Fi available.
  2. Placement: Plug the gateway in close to the lock (same room is best).
  3. Add gateway: AUSLOCK App → Gateway+ → select gateway type → power it on.
  4. Pair: Tap Add → choose your 2.4GHz SSID → enter password → name the gateway.
  5. Bind lock: Link/bind the lock to the gateway inside gateway/lock settings.
  6. Enable Remote Unlock: Lock → SettingsRemote Unlock → turn ON.
  7. Test: Turn Bluetooth OFF (or step away), use mobile data, then test remote unlock in the AUSLOCK App.

Hostaway setup (high-level steps)

  1. In Hostaway, open Marketplace and select TTLock.
  2. Connect/authorize the provider connection.
  3. Map each lock/device to the correct property/unit.
  4. Run a test reservation to confirm the workflow triggers and access is created correctly.

Troubleshooting (fast fixes)

  • Devices not syncing: confirm you authorised the correct account and the lock is owned by that admin account.
  • Remote actions failing: gateway may be offline, too far from lock, or lock not bound to gateway.
  • Wrong timing: check lock time + timezone first.
