Privacy Mode can restrict entry for certain users — turning it off restores normal access.
Turn off Privacy Mode (common method)
- Stand near the lock with the admin phone.
- Open the AUSLOCK App and select the lock.
- Go to Settings.
- Find Privacy Lock / Privacy Mode.
- Select Turn Off and confirm.
If you can’t find the setting
- Ensure you are logged in as the lock administrator.
- Update the app and check for firmware updates.
- Some models use a physical privacy switch (see the article on how the privacy switch works).
Tip: If staff/guests suddenly can’t unlock, Privacy Mode is one of the first settings to check.
