AUSLOCK Wi-Fi Gateway (G2) — Remote Access Setup & What It Enables
The AUSLOCK G2 Wi-Fi Gateway connects your lock to the internet so you can manage access and view events remotely — even when you’re not on-site.
What the gateway enables
- Remote lock/unlock from anywhere
- Live event logs and activity history
- Remote management of users (PINs, cards, fingerprints, eKeys)
- Change user access schedules remotely
- Enable/disable Passage Mode remotely
Placement rules (important)
- The gateway must be within range of the lock’s Bluetooth connection.
- The gateway must be within Wi-Fi range of your router.
- One gateway can typically work with multiple locks (depending on layout and distance).
Setup steps
- Plug the gateway into power (USB power supply).
- Open AUSLOCK app → go to Gateways (or “Device Management”).
- Tap Add Gateway and follow prompts.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Bind/assign the gateway to the lock(s) you want connected.
- Test: go to the lock page and confirm Remote Unlock works.
Common fixes
- Not connecting to Wi-Fi: make sure you are using 2.4GHz and the Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Remote unlock missing: confirm the lock is bound to the gateway and you’re logged into the Admin account.
- Unreliable connection: move the gateway closer to the lock and router (avoid thick concrete/metal barriers).
