AUSLOCK Remote Control (How It Works + Setup Tips)

The AUSLOCK Remote Control is a handy add-on that lets you trigger lock actions without opening the phone app. It’s commonly used for:

  • Quick entry/exit for staff
  • Reception desks / back-of-house access
  • Short-stay properties (manager access)
  • People who want a physical button option

Before you start

  • Confirm your lock supports remote accessories.
  • Have fresh batteries ready (if your remote uses them).
  • Stand close to the lock during pairing.

Pair the remote to your lock

  1. Open the AUSLOCK app and select your lock.
  2. Go to SettingsAccessories (or “Remote / Keyfob / Devices”).
  3. Tap Add Device.
  4. Put the remote into pairing mode (usually holding a button for a few seconds).
  5. Confirm the device appears in the app, then save.

Daily use tips

  • Test lock/unlock twice after pairing.
  • If the remote becomes unreliable, replace the battery first.
  • Keep the remote away from water/heat and avoid dropping it.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote won’t pair: restart the app, stand closer, and retry pairing mode.
  • Remote pairs but doesn’t work: confirm it’s assigned to the correct lock and the battery is fresh.
  • Range is short: reduce interference (metal doors/walls can block signal).
