Enable Remote Unlock on AUSLOCK (Wi-Fi Gateway Required)

To control your AUSLOCK remotely (remote lock/unlock, scheduling access from anywhere, and most integrations), you must enable Remote Unlock inside the AUSLOCK-supported app (TTLock ecosystem).

Prerequisites

  • Wi-Fi Gateway installed: Your AUSLOCK Wi-Fi Gateway must be paired in the app and connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Gateway configured: The gateway should appear online/connected in the app.
  • Lock added as Admin: Use the Admin/owner account for full settings access.
Why Remote Unlock matters: Even with a gateway, remote control may not work until Remote Unlock is turned on for that lock.

How to enable Remote Unlock

  1. Open the app.
  2. Select the lock you want to configure (if you manage multiple locks).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Remote Unlock.
  5. Tap Turn On.

How to confirm it’s working

  1. Return to the lock dashboard screen.
  2. Look for a Wi-Fi padlock (or remote control indicator).
  3. Turn off Bluetooth (or step away from the door) and test a remote unlock using mobile data.

If Remote Unlock is missing or won’t enable (quick fixes)

  • Gateway offline: confirm the gateway is powered and connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Wrong Wi-Fi band: gateways typically require 2.4GHz (not 5GHz).
  • Too far from lock: place the gateway closer to the lock (fewer walls/metal between them).
  • Permissions: only the Admin/owner account can access certain settings.
  • Refresh: close and reopen the app, then re-check the Remote Unlock toggle.
