If Auto-Lock is enabled, the lock typically locks after a delay once the door is closed. If the door isn’t fully closed or the latch binds, it may not lock as expected.

- Enable Auto-Lock with a sensible delay (3–10 seconds)
- Confirm door alignment (no binding)
- Test 10 times before relying on it
