TRADE ACCOUNT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By applying for, purchasing under, or using an Auslock Trade Account (“Customer”), you agree to these Trade Terms & Conditions.

Orders are only accepted once confirmed by Auslock. Quotations are valid for 30 days and may be adjusted due to supplier pricing, freight costs, exchange rates, availability or error.

Auslock reserves the right to refuse supply at its discretion.

2. Trade Account Eligibility & Minimum Spend

Approved trade accounts receive 30-day terms subject to ongoing eligibility.

To maintain a 30-day credit account, the customer must purchase a minimum of $500 ex GST within each 30-day period.

If the minimum spend is not met Auslock may:

  • revert account to prepaid
  • suspend trade pricing
  • remove discounts
  • cancel credit facility
3. Pricing & Commercial Use

Trade pricing is confidential and must not be:

  • advertised publicly
  • displayed online
  • shared with competitors
  • sold on marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Temu or similar) without written approval

Breach of this condition may result in permanent account closure without notice.

4. Orders & Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once processed, allocated or prepared.

Special orders, configured products and programmed items are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Auslock may cancel orders due to pricing errors, supply issues or risk concerns.

5. Payment Terms
Credit Accounts (Approved Customers)

30 days from invoice date.

To retain credit privileges a minimum purchase of $500 ex GST per 30-day period must be maintained.

Failure to comply may result in:

  • account suspension
  • removal of trade pricing
  • conversion to prepaid status
Pay & Collect (Immediate Payment)

Customers may elect to pay at time of order or collection.

Where goods are paid in full prior to or at pickup:

  • additional discount pricing may be offered at Auslock discretion
  • priority order processing may apply
  • minimum monthly spend requirements do not apply to that transaction
  • credit limits are not affected

Discount levels vary based on product, stock levels and quantity and are not guaranteed.

Special / Indent Orders

50% deposit + balance prior to shipment unless agreed otherwise.

Late Payments

Late payments may incur:

  • interest at 2% per month
  • debt recovery fees
  • legal costs
  • suspension of supply

Ownership of goods remains with Auslock until all monies are paid in full.

6. Delivery & Freight
  • Free store delivery on orders $600+
  • Orders under $600 incur $30 handling fee
  • Priority delivery available at cost
  • Third-party delivery at customer risk

Goods must be inspected upon delivery.

Damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

Once goods are signed for or collected, responsibility transfers to the customer.

7. Installation Responsibility

Smart locks must be installed by a qualified installer and according to Auslock instructions.

Auslock is not responsible for:

  • incorrect door preparation
  • alignment issues
  • electrical wiring
  • access control integration faults
  • site conditions
  • third-party hardware compatibility

Technical advice is guidance only and does not transfer liability.

8. Warranty

Warranty covers manufacturer hardware defects only.

Warranty does NOT cover:

  • incorrect installation
  • door misalignment
  • battery damage or leakage
  • environmental or water ingress
  • network/app configuration
  • forced entry
  • misuse
  • commercial wear
  • cosmetic deterioration

On-site inspection fees:

Metro: $110

Regional: +$1/km

Fees waived if manufacturing fault confirmed.

9. Returns

Returns accepted only if:

  • requested within 3 days
  • approved by Auslock
  • unused and in original packaging

Restocking fee: greater of $30 or 10%

Non-returnable items include:

  • keyed alike systems
  • special orders
  • programmed locks
  • clearance items
  • installed products
10. Liability Limitation

Auslock is not liable for:

  • labour or installation costs
  • tenant inconvenience
  • loss of profit
  • access callouts
  • site damages
  • consequential damages

Maximum liability is limited to replacement of the product only.

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Chargebacks without written dispute lodged with Auslock constitute breach of terms and may result in immediate account suspension and recovery action.

12. Credit & Personal Guarantee

Directors/owners may be personally liable for unpaid accounts.

Auslock may change credit limits, request prepayment or withdraw credit at any time without notice.

13. Suspension & Termination

Auslock may suspend supply if:

  • invoices overdue
  • misuse of pricing
  • warranty abuse
  • reputational damage occurs
14. Force Majeure

Auslock is not liable for delays caused by supplier shortages, freight delays, government action or events outside reasonable control.

15. Privacy

Customer information may be used for credit checks and account management.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

TRADE ACCOUNT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Completed trade application
• Valid ABN
• Minimum opening order $500 ex GST
• Ongoing minimum monthly spend $500 ex GST for credit accounts

AGREEMENT

By purchasing under a trade account, the customer confirms authority to bind the business and agrees to these terms.
