For most automation (remote unlock, scheduled codes, syncing changes offsite), a gateway is strongly recommended.
What’s the fastest setup for short-stay properties?
Pair the lock as Admin → add a gateway for remote access → connect your PMS/channel manager → run one test booking end-to-end.
Why isn’t my lock showing in Guesty/Hostaway/Uplisting?
Check the basics first: the lock is added under the Admin account, time/timezone are correct, remote access is enabled (often via gateway), and you authorised the same account inside the platform. If it still won’t import, disconnect/reconnect the integration and try importing a single lock first.
