How to replace batteries safely
- Keep the door open while you change batteries (prevents lockout).
- Remove the internal cover and replace all batteries with fresh, matching batteries.
- Check the battery polarity (+ / -) carefully.
- Close the cover and test keypad + handle + app control.

- Use quality brand-name batteries.
- Replace as a full set (don’t mix old and new).
- If your lock behaves strangely, do a full fresh-battery cycle first.
If settings appear missing after a battery change
- Confirm batteries are installed correctly and the lock powers on.
- Open the AUSLOCK App and refresh the lock connection.
- If the lock was factory reset, you may need to re-add it to the app.
