AUSLOCK Gateway (G4) — Setup, Network Tips & Remote Access

The AUSLOCK G4 Gateway is designed to give your lock remote capabilities (unlock, logs, user changes) when paired and configured correctly.

What you get with a gateway

  • Remote lock/unlock
  • Live logs & event history
  • Remote user management (PINs, cards, fingerprints, eKeys)
  • Remote schedule changes and Passage Mode control

Setup steps

  1. Power on the gateway.
  2. Open AUSLOCK appGatewaysAdd Gateway.
  3. Follow the pairing prompts and complete network connection.
  4. Bind/assign the gateway to the lock(s).
  5. Confirm Remote Unlock appears and test it.

Placement rules

  • Keep the gateway within good range of the lock (Bluetooth reach matters).
  • Keep the gateway in a strong-signal area for its network connection.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote unlock not available: confirm gateway-to-lock binding and Admin account.
  • Random dropouts: move gateway away from metal cabinets/electrical panels and closer to the lock.
