Use One Key Fob to Unlock Multiple AUSLOCK Locks
If you have multiple AUSLOCK locks on the same site, you can usually pair the same key fob to more than one lock, so you only carry one fob.
Before you start
- You must be logged into the Admin/Owner account for each lock.
- Ensure the lock batteries are healthy.
- Have the fob with you (and stay close to the lock).
Step-by-step: Add the same fob to another lock
- Open the AUSLOCK App.
- Select Lock A.
- Go to Users / Keys / Cards / Fobs (wording may vary).
- Tap Add → choose Fob (or “Card/Fob”).
- Follow the prompt to present the fob to the reader / activate pairing.
- Save, then repeat the same steps for Lock B (and any others).
Best practice
- Name the fob consistently across locks (e.g., “Jim – Master Fob”).
- If this is for staff/cleaners, use unique fobs per person for easy removal.
Troubleshooting
- Fob won’t add: confirm you’re an admin on that lock and try again closer to the reader.
- Works on one lock only: you must add the same fob separately to each lock.
