Yes—if your Wi-Fi name/password changed, your AUSLOCK Wi-Fi gateway must be reconnected to the new network.
What changed?
- New modem/router (even same provider)
- New Wi-Fi name (SSID) or password
- New router settings (2.4GHz disabled, band steering)
Fix steps
- Confirm your router has 2.4GHz Wi-Fi enabled.
- Power cycle the gateway (unplug 10 seconds → plug back in).
- In the AUSLOCK App, open gateway settings and re-pair / re-add the gateway to the new Wi-Fi network.
- Wait 2–5 minutes, then refresh lock status.

Use a stable 2.4GHz network name and avoid frequent password changes for rental/remote setups.
