How to Lock an AUSLOCK Door from Outside Without Using the App

You can usually lock from outside without the app using Auto-Lock (recommended).

Most AUSLOCK owners use Auto-Lock so the door locks automatically after closing.

Method 1: Use Auto-Lock (recommended)

1. Open the AUSLOCK App.
2. Enable Auto-Lock.
3. Set a delay (commonly 3–10 seconds).
4. Close the door and wait for the lock to engage.

Method 2: Use supported keypad/lock actions

Some models support a manual lock action from the keypad/handle. If your model supports this, use the lock action shown in your user guide.

Tip: Always test 5–10 times before relying on the new routine.
