Ways to confirm lock status
- In the app: status indicator (best when lock is online/connected)
- Physical check: try the handle carefully (door open first when testing)
- Door sensor: gives the most accurate open/close + lock workflow (if installed)
If status seems wrong
- Refresh the app connection
- Check gateway is online (for remote status)
- Re-check door alignment (binding can cause partial locking)
