How to Update AUSLOCK Firmware Safely (Avoid Bricking the Lock)

Before you update firmware

• Use fresh batteries (don’t update on low battery)
• Stand close to the lock (strong Bluetooth)
• Keep the app open until it finishes

Update steps

1. AUSLOCK App → select lock → Settings.
2. Find Firmware/Device Update.
3. Start update and keep phone close.
4. Wait until completion message appears.

If update fails

• Do not remove batteries mid-update unless instructed
• Restart app and try again close to the lock
• Contact support with screenshot of error
