AUSLOCK Remote Control (How It Works + Setup Tips)
The AUSLOCK Remote Control is a handy add-on that lets you trigger lock actions without opening the phone app. It’s commonly used for:
- Quick entry/exit for staff
- Reception desks / back-of-house access
- Short-stay properties (manager access)
- People who want a physical button option
Before you start
- Confirm your lock supports remote accessories.
- Have fresh batteries ready (if your remote uses them).
- Stand close to the lock during pairing.
Pair the remote to your lock
- Open the AUSLOCK app and select your lock.
- Go to Settings → Accessories (or “Remote / Keyfob / Devices”).
- Tap Add Device.
- Put the remote into pairing mode (usually holding a button for a few seconds).
- Confirm the device appears in the app, then save.
Daily use tips
- Test lock/unlock twice after pairing.
- If the remote becomes unreliable, replace the battery first.
- Keep the remote away from water/heat and avoid dropping it.
Troubleshooting
- Remote won’t pair: restart the app, stand closer, and retry pairing mode.
- Remote pairs but doesn’t work: confirm it’s assigned to the correct lock and the battery is fresh.
- Range is short: reduce interference (metal doors/walls can block signal).
