This is not normal behaviour for most setups
If the door unlocks on touch, it’s usually a setting, misconfiguration, or a hardware/installation issue causing unintended unlock behaviour.
Fix steps
- Open AUSLOCK App → lock → Settings.
- Disable any quick unlock / auto unlock options (if present).
- Check if passage mode is enabled (door may be staying unlocked).
- Restart the lock (battery out 30 seconds → back in).
- Test with door open before closing.
If it continues
Stop using the lock as your primary security until resolved and contact support with a video.
