Import Users & Codes to a New AUSLOCK (Copy eKeys, PINs & Cards)
If you’re upgrading to a new lock (or want multiple locks set up the same way), you can import access data from an existing AUSLOCK to a new AUSLOCK using the AUSLOCK-supported app (TTLock ecosystem). This saves time by copying users and credentials across without manually re-creating everything.
What gets copied (and what doesn’t)
- Transferred: eKeys, all passcode types (PIN codes), and IC cards / key fobs.
- Not transferred: fingerprints (must be enrolled again on the new lock).
- Not transferred: Passage Mode and other individual lock settings (you’ll reconfigure these on the new lock).
Before you start (fast checklist)
- Make sure the new lock has been added to your account and appears in your lock list.
- Turn Bluetooth ON on your phone.
- Stand close to the new lock so the app can connect via Bluetooth.
Note: The old lock does not need to be powered on — the access data is pulled from your account, not the physical device.
How to import data (step-by-step)
- Open the AUSLOCK-supported app.
- Select your new lock.
- Go to Settings → Import from another lock.
- Choose the old lock you want to copy from.
- Follow the prompts to complete the import.
After importing: what you should check
- Test at least one PIN code on the keypad.
- Test a card/fob if you use them.
- Confirm key users can still access via eKey (app access).
- Recreate any fingerprints on the new lock (these do not transfer).
- Re-enable any settings you rely on (like Auto-Lock or Passage Mode).
Troubleshooting
- Import won’t start: move closer to the new lock and confirm Bluetooth is enabled.
- Some users missing: check you selected the correct “old lock” source and rerun the import.
- Fingerprints not there: expected — fingerprints must be enrolled again manually.
- Passage mode / settings not copied: expected — reconfigure these settings on the new lock.
