AUSLOCK App Guide (Features, Settings, Users, Codes, Logs & Remote Access)
The AUSLOCK App is used to set up and manage AUSLOCK smart locks (TTLock ecosystem). You can lock/unlock, create PIN codes, add fingerprints and cards/fobs, send app access (eKeys), view logs, and enable remote access via a Wi-Fi Gateway. This guide gives you a clean “start to advanced” overview in one place.
Quick start (first-time setup)
- Download the AUSLOCK App and create/login to your account.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone (most setup tasks require you to be near the lock).
- Add your lock in the app. The first account that adds the lock becomes the Admin/Owner.
Core features (what you can do in the AUSLOCK App)
- Lock/Unlock from your phone (Bluetooth near the lock; remote unlock needs gateway).
- Passcodes (PIN codes) for keypad entry (permanent, timed, one-time, recurring — model dependent).
- eKeys (App access) to share access with other users (time-limited or ongoing).
- Cards/Fobs for tap entry (model dependent).
- Fingerprints for biometric entry (model dependent).
- Unlock records / logs to review activity and export if needed.
- Auto-Lock (locks after a delay) and Passage Mode (stays unlocked during selected times).
- Wi-Fi Gateway for remote features and many integrations.
Lock Dashboard (daily use)
Your lock dashboard is where you’ll see your lock status and most quick actions. Common actions include:
- Unlock / Lock from the app (near the lock via Bluetooth).
- Remote Unlock (if enabled with Wi-Fi Gateway).
- Jump into settings for passcodes, users, and logs.
Users & Access Methods (best practice structure)
To keep your system secure and easy to manage, use this structure:
- Admin/Owner: You (full permissions). Keep this account controlled.
- Permanent users: Family/staff with unique PIN or card/fob or fingerprint.
- Timed users: Cleaners/trades with scheduled access.
- Guests: One-time or timed codes (or integration-generated codes).
Passcodes (PIN codes)
PIN codes are one of the most common access types for keypad locks. Depending on your model/app version, you can set:
- Permanent (always works until deleted)
- Timed (works only during a date/time window)
- One-time (single use)
- Recurring (specific days/hours — if supported)
Where to find it: Lock → Passcodes (or “Keyboard Password”).

eKeys (share app access)
eKeys let someone unlock using their phone/app (instead of a keypad PIN). This is ideal for staff, family, or managers. You can send time-limited or ongoing access (options vary by model/app).
Where to find it: Lock → eKeys → Send eKey.
Cards/Fobs (tap access)
If your model supports it, you can enrol cards/fobs for quick access. Enrolment typically requires you to be near the lock (Bluetooth range).
Where to find it: Lock → Cards → Add Card.
Fingerprints (biometric access)
If your model supports it, fingerprints are fast and reduce the risk of shared PINs. Enrolment is typically done near the lock and may require multiple scans.
Where to find it: Lock → Fingerprints → Add Fingerprint.
Unlock records (logs) + exporting activity
The app can show unlock/lock records for auditing and troubleshooting (for example: who unlocked, when, and by what method). Some app versions allow exporting records depending on model/app options.
- Use logs when diagnosing: “code didn’t work”, “door was left unlocked”, or staff/cleaner access disputes.
Auto-Lock (recommended)
Auto-Lock locks your door automatically after it has been opened, using a delay time you choose. This is one of the best settings for security.

Passage Mode (keep unlocked when needed)
Passage Mode keeps the lock unlocked continuously (or during scheduled hours) — ideal for offices, shops, and events.

Wi-Fi Gateway (remote access + integrations)
If you want to unlock remotely, manage settings offsite, or use many integrations, a Wi-Fi Gateway is usually required. The gateway connects your lock to the internet through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Transfer lock ownership (selling/handing over a property)
You can transfer the lock to another account so the new owner/manager becomes the Admin.
Guide: Transfer a lock to another account
Import data from another lock (upgrades / replacements)
If you’re replacing a lock, you can often import users/codes from one lock to another. This typically copies eKeys, passcodes and cards (fingerprints usually must be re-enrolled).

Emergency mechanical key (always keep accessible)
Every AUSLOCK lock includes a mechanical backup key so you can get in during a flat battery or electronic issue.

Troubleshooting checklist (fast fixes)
- Can’t find a setting: confirm you’re the Admin/Owner account and update the app.
- Timed access not working: check lock time/timezone (schedules depend on it).
- Remote unlock missing: confirm gateway is online and Remote Unlock is enabled.
- PIN not working: confirm code type (timed vs permanent), battery level, and correct keypad method for your model.
